Współpraca Towarzystwa TEPIS z fundacją Institute of Advanced Legal Skills zapoczątkowana wystąpieniem dr Stephena Terretta w Sekcji Angielskiej podczas Konferencji Jubileuszowej 25-lecia PT TEPIS. Dr Stephen Terrett, kierownik Centrum Prawa Angielskiego i Europejskiego (British Law Centre, BLC) na Wydziale Prawa i Administracji Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego i jednocześnie prezes fundacji Institute of Advanced Legal Skills ( http://legalskills.org.pl/ ) zaszczycił swoją obecnością Sekcję Angielską. W wykładzie nt. tłumaczenia w postępowaniu karnym podkreślił na przykładach  jak duże znaczenie w odpowiedzialnej pracy tłumacza przysięgłego ma znajomość systemu prawa danego kraju. Tłumaczom anglojęzycznym, którzy chcieliby pogłębić znajomość prawa angielskiego polecamy studia w Centrum Prawa Angielskiego i Europejskiego

The British Law Centre (www.britishlawcentre.co.uk) has existed at the University of Warsaw since 1992. It conducts a two-year programme: Diploma in an Introduction to English and European Union law which is taught by native speakers, in small groups, and entirely in English. The Diploma is accredited by the University of Warsaw (WPiA) and Juris Angliae Scientia, an English educational charity, chaired by Lord Robert Carnwath of Notting Hill (UK Supreme Court) and Prof W.R. Cornish, Prof. Richard Fentiman, Dr Jonathan Morgan and Dr Jennifer Davis (all of the Law Faculty, University of Cambridge).

The Diploma is well-recognised and well-respected. It constitutes an extremely valuable and useful element of training for lawyers and those specialising in English legal terminology.
